
Biography
Cherilyn Liu is a French horn player from Taiwan, currently studying at The Juilliard School with Professor Erik Ralske. Introduced to music at an early age, she continued her musical training in both horn and piano while pursuing biomedical studies in high school.
Cherilyn has won top prizes in the National Student Competition of Music in Taiwan in 2021 and 2023. As Principal Horn of the National Symphony Youth Orchestra of Taiwan (NSYO) in 2024, she toured Singapore and Thailand in chamber music performances and appeared in events including the Presidential Office Concert. Since 2025, Cherilyn has been a member of Juilliard ensembles, where she performs regularly in orchestra, chamber music, and opera productions.
