We are delighted to share the following announcement from The Juilliard School.

Chenter Foundation has been appointed as a founding member of the Juilliard Global Council. Our foundation will be represented by Michelle Chen (Chenter Foundation President) and Richard Chen (Chenter Foundation Secretary/Treasurer).

Founded in 1905, The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education. The school’s mission is to provide the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians, dancers, and actors to achieve their fullest potential as artists, leaders, and global citizens.

The seven founding members of the Global Council are leaders and philanthropists in the performing arts that have convened to advance Juilliard’s mission and global presence. The members also serve as global ambassadors of the school. Through their extensive networks, members will help broaden the school’s outreach to communities of like-minded music lovers.

Chenter Foundation is a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving children’s lives through health care, education, music and the performing arts. We believe in Juilliard’s world-class education and partner with Juilliard to support their young artists in spreading music worldwide with specially endowed scholarships. We believe education, health care, music and the performing arts are not privileges but everyone’s fundamental rights.

Under the umbrella of the Chenter Foundation, Licha Stelaus Productions was established to spread empathy and compassion through music and the performing arts. Our concerts are inclusive events designed especially for people and groups who lack the opportunities to enjoy high-caliber concerts. In addition, we endeavor to nurture future generations of talented musicians and performing artists with our concert productions.

The world is chaotic and hectic. Nevertheless, we hope to heal hearts and uplift spirits through music’s powers.
